Ashley Carruthers: A Sight To Behold....
It was tough for her to get here. At last account, we heard that she struggled to get to our Event, but yet she arrived with the expectation of it being a big opportunity for her to shine. When she arrived, she was literally transformed into someone that very few people had seen.
You see, in the past, she always wore black. But, for the first time in her life, Ashley was dressed in white. She was positioned in the main hall of AmericasMart Atlanta, posing as the "Antarctica Vignette" during the 2012 Bridal Makeover Explosion. Her elegance was definitely a sight to behold.
But then, when the show was over, little did we know that this event would be her last. Later that evening, as she was on her way home with a few of her friends, she was killed in a car crash north of Atlanta, Georgia.
On behalf of the Bridal Makeover Explosion team, we express our deepest condolences to the Carruthers family. Our prayer is that the Lord, in His faithfulness, will be made manifest to you all in NEW and FRESH ways, as the days continue to come forth!
